This parev Pesach dessert uses store cupboard ingredients and is easy to serve when preparing for larger numbers particularly at Seder.
Pears are a naturally versatile food. Eaten simply as fresh fruit or as a salad they are flavoursome, textured and healthy. Their perfumed flavour blends so well when cooked with other ingredients such as coconut, wine and in my bake - almonds.
